Why the Apple Developer fee is paid by you

Apple requires the Developer Program under your organisation. Why LMS White cannot create or pay that membership for Enterprise clients.
What this means for you
On Enterprise, Apple requires the Apple Developer Program to be created and billed under your email and organisation. The membership fee (about ₹9,000 / year, paid to Apple) is paid by you directly to Apple.
LMS White cannot create or pay that account for you. You create it, then grant our team access so we can deploy and publish production apps under your brand.
Why Apple insists on your organisation
The Apple Developer Program is a legal agreement between Apple and the account holder. Apple bills that entity, holds them to the developer agreements, and ties App Store Connect apps to that team. Vendors paying or owning the membership for hundreds of clients would blur legal responsibility, tax invoices and account control — Apple’s model is account-holder pays.
This is the same for most serious iOS products worldwide: the brand on the store owns the developer membership.
Examples
- You enrol with Apple using your company email → Apple charges your card → you invite LMS White as a role with publishing access.
- We cannot put LMS White’s card on “your” membership and still call the listing fully yours under Apple’s rules.
